A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley in English Literature, she worked in marketing and publicity for a publishing house in San Francisco for several years. She also has management experience in both nonprofit and corporate settings. Most recently, she worked in the fitness and wellness industry to develop and direct programs which help individuals achieve success in their short-term and long-term fitness and weight loss goals.
